Burgh House and
Hampstead Museum

The Primarily, Primary Colours family education workshop was held at the Burgh House & Hampstead Museum and led by their Learning and Access Officer, Maria Gomes-Diez. Exploring the moods and colours of three Ribeiro paintings, the focus was to promote an appreciation of primary and secondary colours, mixing paints and using a colour wheel. The children were then encouraged to explore the effect of colour utilising Ribeiro’s Heads, Townscapes and hanging mobiles which were then hung in the gallery in the final weeks of the exhibition.
